David is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and teacher. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, he studied classical piano with Carole Neal and jazz and classical guitar with Hank Bryant.

David received a Certificate of Audio Engineering from the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in Tempe, Arizona. He has performed as a studio musician on many regional and national projects, including The United Way, Chevrolet, Pringles, Enterprise, and Pavement Chasers. In the early 2000s, he produced, performed, and co-engineered on a recording of his own original music entitled “ANDERSON & LILL”.

Recent studio projects include keyboard and guitar session work at Phoenix area studios, which include Porcupine, Arrowhead, Tempest, and Vendetta. He is currently recording music for TV and film, and is published through Big Fish Music Publishing Group.

As a live performer, David has played all over the United States with numerous artists and in countless musical projects which span the genres of rock, jazz, blues, classical, and country.  In addition, he performs his original music both as a solo artist and with a group in the Phoenix Metro area.

David currently gives private piano and guitar lessons at his home studio in Goodyear, Arizona. He incorporates an instructional method which emphasizes both reading music and ear training development. He also exposes his students to recording and live performance equipment that are key components of contemporary music. For rates and availability, please send David an email.  Inquiries for booking or licensing music for film or television are welcome.
